About the Role

We are seeking skilled and motivated individuals to fill the position of Civil Works Technician.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality civil construction and maintenance services across the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out a range of civil works activities including concrete, asphalt, drainage, signage and street furniture construction and maintenance.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet project objectives.
  • Maintain accurate records and complete daily work orders and timesheets.
  • Promote safe working practices and adhere to relevant policies.
Requirements
  • A valid MR Drivers Licence is essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
  • The ability to work flexibly and provide excellent customer service is necessary.
  • Accurate record-keeping and time management skills are also required.
Desirable Qualifications
  • A Certificate III in Civil Construction or equivalent would be highly regarded.
  • A Senior First Aid Certificate is desirable.
  • A Traffic Control Licence would be advantageous.
  • Plant operator accreditation is also desirable.
