As a Client Capacity Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing expert advice and guidance to individuals on decision-making and capacity
  • Building client capacity and encouraging participation in decision-making processes
  • Collaborating with external advocacy providers to educate and advise individuals and their support networks
  • Assisting clients to access external agencies and services
  • Developing and delivering educational programs to build knowledge and awareness among families and networks

**Key Qualifications and Experience**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, such as Social Work or Developmental Education
  • Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities and their support networks
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies
