About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Modelling Analyst to join our Analysis team in Melbourne. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of AGL's ambitious renewable energy projects, supporting the development and execution of our generation growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute detailed financial valuation models to support business cases and achieve Financial Close.
  • Partner with Power Development Project Managers to provide commercial and financial support for AGL's portfolio of greenfield opportunities.
  • Provide justification of material capital investments through financial modelling, scenario analysis, and sensitivity analysis.
  • Be a commercial advisor to AGL's Power Development team, offering economic analysis and insights on strategic and project-level opportunities.
Requirements
  • Exceptional project financial modelling skills, including knowledge of best practice modelling principles.
  • Ability to understand and explain commercial value drivers.
  • Experience with capital-intensive infrastructure projects.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills.
  • The ability to operate both strategically and at a detailed technical level, understanding nuanced and complex challenges and how to communicate those to differing audiences.
