Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources and Payroll Officer to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all HR functions, processing and maintaining employee lifecycle, supporting branch management teams with recruitment and performance management, managing employee licence and accreditation compliance, managing staff rewards program, long service leave calculations, fortnightly payroll processing, production of monthly reports using Excel, and management of Workcover Claims.

To be considered for this position, you will have proven HR experience ideally within a busy environment. Previous experience with online Human Resource systems is preferred.

You will be a team player, possessing an analytical and problem solving mindset who is prepared to learn all aspects of the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all HR functions for up to 200 employees working for 4 separate entities across VIC, SA and QLD
  • Process, maintain and improve the employee lifecycle from recruitment to offboarding
  • Support Branch Management Teams with recruitment
  • Support Branch Management Teams with drafting and documenting performance management
  • Manage employee licence and accreditation compliance
  • Manage staff rewards program
  • Long service leave calculations (SA, VIC and QLD legislation understanding preferred)
  • Fortnightly processing of payroll (experience with ELMO or Employment Hero preferred)
  • Production of monthly reports using Excel
  • Management of Workcover Claims
