Job Title: Senior Retail Sales Assistant

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our retail team as a Senior Retail Sales Assistant. This role will provide an opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, working in a fast-paced environment, and being part of a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability
  • Analyse sales data to identify trends and drive growth
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers
  • Visual merchandising and product marketing
  • Lead and train store staff in product knowledge and merchandising standards
  • Receive and process inwards goods, including stock receival and dispatch
  • Support general store operations
  • Assist customers with retail sales, product, and pricing enquiries
  • Load and unload products manually and with a forklift
  • Assist with opening and closing the store, including balancing registers and banking

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent customer service and communication skills, be physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks, and have a valid forklift licence or willingness to obtain.
