Job Title: Senior Retail Sales Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Senior Retail Sales Assistant to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and has experience in retail sales.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing inventory levels, analysing sales data to identify trends and drive growth, building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, visual merchandising and product marketing, leading and training store staff in product knowledge and merchandising standards, receiving and processing inwards goods, including stock receival and dispatch, supporting general store operations, assisting customers with retail sales, product, and pricing enquiries, loading and unloading products manually and with a forklift, and assisting with opening and closing the store, including balancing registers and banking.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability
  • Analyse sales data to identify trends and drive growth
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers
  • Visual merchandising and product marketing
  • Lead and train store staff in product knowledge and merchandising standards
  • Receive and process inwards goods, including stock receival and dispatch
  • Support general store operations
  • Assist customers with retail sales, product, and pricing enquiries
  • Loading and unloading products manually and with a forklift
  • Assist with opening and closing the store, including balancing registers and banking
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Essential:
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Team-oriented, with a customer-first and can-do attitude
  • Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks
  • A valid forklift licence or willingness to obtain
  • Availability to work full-time, Monday to Friday
