Comprehensive Rehabilitation Specialist

A dedicated Physiotherapist is sought to provide comprehensive rehabilitation services as part of a multidisciplinary team.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to program development and quality improvement activities within the Allied Health Department.
Key responsibilities include assessing, treating, and planning rehabilitation services for inpatients and outpatients with varied diagnostic groups.
- Deliver excellent clinical services related to assessment, treatment, planning, and evidence-based practice.
- Participate in program development and quality improvement activities within the Allied Health Department.
- Attend multi-disciplinary team meetings and professional development programs.
- Provide supervision and mentoring of junior staff and students.
Dorset Rehabilitation offers extensive inpatient and outpatient services in various specialties including orthopaedics, neurology, cardiac, falls and balance, hydrotherapy, rehab in the home, and pain management.
A strong commitment to evidence-based practice and excellence in care delivery to patients is evident.
Selection CriteriaEssential qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor in Physiotherapy or equivalent degree required.
- Excellent clinical practice skills in rehabilitation assessment and intervention essential.
- Experience in neurological and orthopaedic rehabilitation necessary.
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills crucial.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team demonstrated.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills required.
- Commitment to interdisciplinary teamwork necessary.
