Job Opportunity

A high-caliber Japanese pastry establishment seeks an experienced chef to enhance their culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in culinary arts and at least two years of experience in producing pastries in a similar setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with preparation of food in assigned kitchen areas, ensuring a fresh and safe environment where excellence is paramount.
  • Oversee the function of their section and contribute to the overall Food and Beverage Department success.
  • Ensure all menus and food produced meet established standards.
  • Recreate recipes, techniques, and menu items as directed by management.
  • Participate in on-the-job training sessions with staff.
  • Responsible for daily preparation of all food requirements and daily specials.
  • Communicate with chefs to order proper quantities for shifts.
  • Ensure service is fast, fun, friendly, fresh, and focused.

The successful candidate will have knowledge of Japanese, European, and American pastry techniques and be able to perform other duties as assigned.
