Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Music Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for music education and be able to inspire students to achieve their full potential.

The successful applicant will work collaboratively with the Creative Arts Faculty to develop and implement programs that maintain high levels of achievement in the Music curriculum areas.

This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who is committed to providing exceptional educational experiences for students and contributing to a positive and inclusive school culture.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum Requirements:
  • Relevant qualifications and experience as a Music Teacher
  • Ability to teach across Stages 4-6 of NESA Music Syllabi
  • Exceptional communication and relational teaching skills
  • Knowledge of relevant compliance requirements in schools
  • Holds a valid Working with Children Check in NSW (WWCC)
  • Accredited teacher with at least Conditional Teacher accreditation from NESA

Others

Please note that this position is responsible directly to the Head of Creative Arts and also reports to the Deputy Principal Senior School and the Principal.

The normal teaching load is 47 fifty-minute periods per fortnightly cycle, including Sport, plus House Tutor and other duties. This load may be adjusted according to the needs of the timetable.
