We are seeking a Music Teacher to join our team. As a member of our Creative Arts Faculty, you will work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement programs that promote high achievement in music. Your passion for education and commitment to our Christian ethos will be key assets in this role.

This permanent full-time position commences in Term 1. You will be responsible for teaching music across Stages 4-6 of NESA's Music Syllabi, utilizing your exceptional communication and relational skills to engage students and promote their growth.

Core Requirements
  • Be a committed Christian actively involved in the life of a Reformed Evangelical church.
  • Support our vision of holistic Christian education, upholding our College's Code of Conduct at all times.
  • Demonstrate ability to teach music effectively, showcasing Christian maturity in our community.
  • Hold a valid Working with Children Check in NSW (WWCC).
  • Be an accredited teacher with Conditional Teacher accreditation from NESA.
Core Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver engaging music lessons that reflect our College's Christian ethos and promote high student outcomes.
  • Manage curriculum requirements, including program development, assessment, and reporting.
  • Provide effective pastoral care to students through regular House Tutor sessions.
  • Support cocurricular activities within the College.
Details of Employment
  • This position reports directly to the Head of Creative Arts and indirectly to the Deputy Principal Senior School and the Principal.
  • The normal teaching load includes 47 fifty-minute periods per fortnightly cycle, plus House Tutor duties and other responsibilities.
