Job Title: Infrastructure Designer

We are seeking an experienced and ambitious civil engineer to lead the design of electricity substations across the UK from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Lead multiple simultaneous technical projects in a challenging environment.
  • Manage design risks to deliver buildable solutions.

Some key deliverables include:

  • Production and review of engineering drawings, calculations, specifications, and reports.
  • Attending progress meetings and design team meetings.

The successful candidate will have a degree in Civil Engineering or a related subject and be working towards Chartered or Incorporated status.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A proven experience working in a design environment for traditional masonry buildings, steel portal frames, and reinforced concrete.
  • Experience in client-facing roles with effective relationship management skills.
  • Practical experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and Civils3D.
