Job Summary

We are transitioning from traditional energy sources to renewable power, and we need your expertise to enable and accelerate this change.

This is a high-level design role on substation primary design scope for substation projects.

About the Role:
  • This position requires leadership in drafting detailed electrical designs using software such as MicroStation, AutoCAD, Revit.
  • You will collaborate with project stakeholders to gather requirements and address technical challenges.
  • As a project lead drafter, you will ensure processes and QA are correctly performed on projects.
  • You will also coordinate small drafting project teams and provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior designers.
  • Additionally, you will participate in design review meetings and propose effective solutions.
Requirements:
  • Degree or Diploma in a relevant field or sufficient industry experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in electrical design, with a strong focus on substation and renewable projects.
  • Extensive experience with drafting software packages.
  • Extensive knowledge of electrical design principles related to primary electrical equipment.
  • Understanding of relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations.
