Nutreco is a leader in the SHV family, committed to 'Feeding the Future' through sustainable and innovative practices. Our business lines include Skretting, a global provider of aquafeed solutions, and Trouw Nutrition, specializing in animal nutrition.

We seek a strategic Finance Manager to lead the finance function of Skretting Spain. This role is responsible for full scope finance operations, including accounting, controlling, planning, and tax. You will lead a team of professionals and act as a key partner to the local management team, contributing to the realization of our business strategy.

You will ensure the formulation and implementation of the financial strategy, aligned with divisional and corporate objectives. This role plays a critical part in validating new business models and customer profitability.

About The Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement the financial strategy, aligned with BU and corporate objectives.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the local management team, supporting strategic decision-making with financial insights.
  • Lead, develop, and empower the Finance Team to meet current and future business needs.
  • Foster a culture of business partnering, continuous improvement, and accountability.
  • Oversee Strategic Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting, and financial reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with corporate guidelines.
  • Monitor financial performance and advise management on key financial matters.
  • Drive cost control initiatives and ensure efficient use of resources within the Finance function.
  • Lead local risk management activities and ensure compliance with internal controls.
  • Manage local tax matters in accordance with corporate policies and local legislation.

Business Partnering

  • Support the validation of business cases, pricing models, and customer profitability analysis.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to identify opportunities for growth, efficiency, and value creation.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong business acumen and a proactive mindset.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
