About the Role

 As a key player in our workforce development team, you will play a pivotal role in fostering employment opportunities for job seekers by collaborating closely with them to identify areas for skill enhancement and training. Building strong relationships with local employers is vital to this role, as we strive to find suitable opportunities for our job seekers and support employers in understanding the benefits and incentives we offer.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Network with other community organisations that work with people with disabilities, illnesses or injuries to explain our services.
  • Develop strong relationships with customers, both face-to-face and over the phone, to understand their capacity to work, their employment preferences and what support, skills and knowledge they need.
  • Maintain regular contact with employers and customers after they start work to review their progress and ensure any issues are addressed swiftly.
  • Collaborate with local community services where required to address any barriers to employment that our customers may be experiencing.
What We're Looking For:
  • Previous experience in a recruitment role or similar; confident with reverse marketing and working towards targets.
  • A true people person who enjoys meeting and building relationships with people from all walks of life.
  • The ability to network and engage with the community, speaking to local employers and organisations to source employment opportunities for our job seekers.
  • Strong administrative, compliance capabilities and IT skills.
Additional Requirements:
  • Right to work in Australia (Australian/NZ citizen, permanent resident or visa with work rights).
  • A current Blue Card (Working with Children Check) or the willingness to gain if successful (we will reimburse the cost on commencement).
  • A current and valid driver's licence.
  • Willingness to undergo a 'Fit 2 Work' police check.
