Home Care Support Worker

Provide personal care and domestic assistance to older Australians in their own homes. Ensure clients live independently with dignity.

The role involves travelling between clients' homes, so a willingness to travel is essential. You will be reimbursed for kilometres travelled while working.

We offer casual opportunities with flexible shifts available between 7am and 7pm, Monday to Sunday. No evening or overnight shifts are required.

This role is ideal for someone who wants to make a positive impact in the community while developing their skills and building a career.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Domestic assistance such as light house cleaning and meal preparation
  • Personal care inclusive of showering, daily hygiene, monitoring of health and wellbeing
  • Community access to medical appointments and social activities
  • Support with daily tasks and routines
  • Build positive relationships with clients and their families

Requirements:

  • Australian Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle with minimum third-party insurance
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships
  • Passionate about making a positive impact in our ageing community
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (must be obtained prior to employment)

Successful candidates will undergo pre-employment checks to ensure client safety. This includes a National Criminal History Record Check and an Aged Care Statutory Declaration.
