About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Business Development Manager to spearhead our client's expansion in the Asia Pacific region. This key position involves driving sales growth, forging strategic partnerships, and serving as our client's brand ambassador in the region.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies for the APAC region, aligning with our client's overall growth objectives.
  2. Identify and cultivate new business opportunities, leveraging industry connections and market insights.
  3. Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring seamless execution and maximum ROI.
  4. Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with customers and partners, fostering trust and driving long-term growth.
  5. Negotiate and establish strategic partnerships that align with our client's business goals and values.
  6. Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscapes, and market developments, applying this knowledge to inform business decisions.
  7. Represent our client at industry events and conferences, showcasing their expertise and thought leadership.
  8. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and drive business outcomes.


Requirements:
  1. Minimum 10 years of experience in sales, business development, or a related field within the Utilities, Energy, or Renewables sectors.
  2. Proven track record of success in international markets, particularly in the APAC region, with a strong understanding of the local business landscape.
  3. Deep knowledge of energy grid and infrastructure, with the ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans.
  4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  6. Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field, with an MBA or equivalent preferred.
  7. Full working rights in Australia.
