Job Title: Injury Management Advisor

The Injury Management Advisor will play a crucial role in supporting employees with workplace injuries and illnesses, ensuring a smooth and sustainable return to work process.

This is an opportunity to be at the forefront of injury prevention and recovery, providing immediate support to injured workers, developing tailored Recover at Work Plans, and managing workers' compensation claims from start to finish.

  • Provide immediate care and support for workplace injuries and illnesses.
  • Develop and manage Recover at Work Plans in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Oversee the end-to-end injury management process, including workers' compensation claims.
  • Deliver expert advice on injury prevention and early intervention strategies.
  • Collaborate with WHS teams to identify hazards and improve occupational health.
  • Maintain accurate records and analyze injury data to inform future strategies.
  • Support people leaders in building their capability to manage injured workers effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments of workplace injuries and illnesses.
  • Develop and implement effective Recover at Work Plans.
  • Manage workers' compensation claims and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on workplace safety and injury prevention.
  • Collaborate with HR and other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
Requirements:
  • Professional qualifications in Return to Work Coordination or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in injury management and workers' compensation claims.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
