Perioperative Services Director

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Manager to lead our Perioperative Services Department.
About the RoleThe successful applicant will be responsible for operational management of our operating suite department, working closely with the Executive Team to shape organisational strategy and enhance procedural service provision.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the perioperative nursing, sterilisation and technician teams
- Develop and implement strategies to improve departmental performance
- Collaborate with VMOs and staff to achieve departmental objectives
- Manage resources and implement sustainable change
- Ensure compliance with WHS regulations and risk minimisation
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Extensive current clinical practice in perioperative role (minimum 5 years)
- Post-graduate qualifications in perioperative nursing
- Previous theatre management experience
- Ability to build rapport with VMOs and staff
