Job Title: Human Resources Generalist

We are seeking an experienced HR professional to join our team as a Human Resources Generalist. This role will involve providing expert advice and guidance on a wide range of human resources matters.

About the Role:

This is a generalist HR position that requires a high level of expertise in recruitment, selection, and appointment processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing various aspects of human resources, including employee relations, workplace investigations, and report writing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serving as a primary point of contact for leaders and employees
  • Providing consistent and appropriate advice on various HR matters
  • Leading and participating in complex negotiations related to employee and industrial relations
  • Managing recruitment, selection, and appointment processes
  • Conducting comprehensive workplace investigations
  • Providing coaching and mentorship to leaders
  • Assisting with the resolution of employee grievances
  • Collaborating on hospital committees and projects
  • Producing reports and analyzing HR data to inform decisions

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A tertiary qualification in human resource management or a related field
  • Exceptional report writing and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to interpret workforce data and use it to recommend strategies and initiatives
  • A proven capacity to identify and implement effective HR solutions to improve organizational performance
