About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our team at ORS Group. As a key member of our clinical services team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support to individuals with complex needs, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disability, and other diagnoses.

As a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized behaviour support plans, focusing on increasing skills, improving emotion regulation, and reducing the use of restrictive practices. You will also work collaboratively with allied health practitioners, support workers, and family members to achieve the best possible outcomes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized behaviour support plans
  • Work collaboratively with allied health practitioners, support workers, and family members
  • Provide high-quality support to individuals with complex needs
  • Contribute to the development of new policies and procedures
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training
Requirements
  • Qualifications in Psychology, Counselling, Board-Certified Behaviour Analysts (BCBA), Teaching, Social Work, Social Sciences, Criminology, Childhood Education & Care, Health Science, Allied Health or Nursing
  • NDIS Registration as a Behaviour Practitioner (or the ability to become registered)
  • Experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disability, and other complex diagnoses (desirable)
  • A car and licence
  • A National Police Clearance, Working With Children/Working with Vulnerable People Check & NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or able to get one for a client-facing role (or willingness to obtain one before commencement)
