Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team in Canberra. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering person-centered support plans that promote the quality of life for our NDIS clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments and develop behaviour support plans that meet the needs of our clients
  • Implement and review behaviour support plans to ensure they are effective and meet the client's goals
  • Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive support to our clients
  • Ensure that all support plans are aligned with the NDIS quality and safeguard commission requirements
Requirements
  • Assessed by NDIS as a PBS practitioner at core or above level
  • Current driver's license
  • Adherence to NDIS quality and safeguard commission requirements
  • Experience working with individuals with a disability or in mental health, or a Bachelor's degree related to Positive Behaviour Support
  • COVID-19 vaccination digital certificate, including mandated booster vaccinations as directed by State Government and NDIS mandates
  • High level of verbal and written communication skills
