Our organisation is seeking a motivated Care Assistant to join our team in Castlemaine and Maldon on a casual basis. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering high-quality care to our aged care clients within an in-home care setting.

We are looking for dependable candidates who can work flexible hours, preferably on Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients at home with personal care tasks such as showering, grooming, toileting, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Support clients to stay independent by helping them go out for shopping, appointments, and community activities.
  • Communicate any client concerns or feedback to the care team to ensure quality service.
  • Maintain client privacy and dignity, and encourage the same among team members and contractors.
  • Report consumer risks to management, including inappropriate behaviours or actions not aligned to our values.
Essential Qualifications & Requirements
  • Based in Castlemaine, Maldon or nearby suburbs.
  • Completed Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support or above.
  • Current valid Level II First Aid Certificate.
  • Experience working within the Aged Care Sector or with Elderly people is advantageous.
  • Current Australian Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with insurance.
