This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Senior Social Worker to join our acute care mental health team.
As a Senior Social Worker Health Clinician, you will play a critical role in delivering urgent mental health assessments and interventions to adults in crisis. You will work collaboratively with stakeholders to develop and implement care plans that promote recovery and well-being.
The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, including experience in conducting mental health assessments, crisis interventions, and trauma-informed therapeutic support. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Mental Health Assessments & Crisis Interventions
- Collaborative Care Planning & Discharge Management
- Evidence-Based Trauma-Informed Therapeutic Support
- Registration as a Social Worker (AHPRA/AASW)
- Experience in Acute or Community Mental Health
- Strong Crisis Assessment & Intervention Skills
- Valid NSW Driver's Licence
- NSW Working With Children Check
This is a 12-week contract position with potential extension. Benefits include a daily meal allowance, supportive multidisciplinary team environment, and travel and accommodation support.
