About the Job

This role is critical to delivering high-quality solutions and results. As a Diesel Fitter, you will work collaboratively with our Maintenance Supervisor to perform servicing, repair, and maintenance of large-scale mobile mining equipment.

The job involves routine servicing, repairs, and maintenance on heavy earth moving equipment as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor. You will also source technical information from relevant manuals, technical bulletins, OEM, and computer-based systems.

Maintaining good housekeeping standards is essential at all times. Conducting required inspections will maximise equipment utilisation.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A trade certificate in Diesel Fitting or equivalent qualification.
  • Post-trade experience working in the Mining or Heavy Earth Moving industry.
  • Experience in General Maintenance, Breakdowns, Component Change Outs, and Servicing of Heavy Earth Moving Equipment.
  • Demonstrated experience with Liebherr and CAT Heavy Earth Moving Equipment.
