As a senior associate aquatic ecologist, you will have the opportunity to work with a highly motivated team of technical specialists who are passionate about aquatic ecology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute expert knowledge in aquatic environmental services and be recognised for specialist expertise.
  • Lead and contribute to projects across freshwater environments to achieve timely and high-quality outcomes.
  • Undertake aquatic/water quality fieldwork in remote areas.
  • Prepare reports to a high standard using advanced data analysis skills.
Requirements
  • A relevant bachelor's degree in environmental science or a related field is required, with specialised study in freshwater ecology being desirable.
  • 5 years' experience as an aquatic ecologist, biologist, zoologist or water quality specialist is essential, with knowledge of scientific data collection in aquatic ecosystems.
  • Excellent analytical skills using uni- and multivariate techniques are required.
  • Project management experience, including stakeholder liaison, is also important.
