About the roleThis is a key leadership position that plays a vital role in ensuring the school's grounds and buildings are well maintained, presented and meet statutory obligations.
The successful applicant will have strong management skills and experience in facilities operations, with the ability to lead a team of staff and contractors to achieve expected outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate facilities operations, including maintenance, repairs and capital works
- Lead a team of staff and contractors to achieve expected outcomes
- Develop and implement strategies to improve facilities operations and reduce costs
- Ensure compliance with OH&S regulations and Department standards
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in a related field (e.g. facilities management, engineering)
- Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in managing teams and projects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with others, including teachers, education support staff, students, parents and contractors
