Foster meaningful relationships with young children and their families as an Early Intervention Speech Pathologist.
This role is a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of children aged 0-6 years with developmental delays, supporting them to reach their full potential.
You will be working in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team environment where you will collaborate with Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, and Early Childhood Educators.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct functional assessments for young children to determine suitable supports
- Collaborate with families and trans-disciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized intervention plans
- Provide direct speech pathology services in individual and group settings
- Support families, educators, and professionals in creating inclusive environments and staying updated on best practices
- Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology (essential)
- Registration with Speech Pathology Australia (essential)
- Experience working with young children with developmental delays or disability and their families
- Openness to work in an innovative, dynamic early intervention model
- Knowledge of early childhood intervention principles and best practice
- Current drivers' license, willingness/ability to travel to clients (pool cars provided)
- Current Blue Card
