Early Childhood Speech Pathologist

Foster meaningful relationships with young children and their families as an Early Intervention Speech Pathologist.

This role is a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of children aged 0-6 years with developmental delays, supporting them to reach their full potential.

You will be working in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team environment where you will collaborate with Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, and Early Childhood Educators.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct functional assessments for young children to determine suitable supports
  • Collaborate with families and trans-disciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized intervention plans
  • Provide direct speech pathology services in individual and group settings
  • Support families, educators, and professionals in creating inclusive environments and staying updated on best practices
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology (essential)
  • Registration with Speech Pathology Australia (essential)
  • Experience working with young children with developmental delays or disability and their families
  • Openness to work in an innovative, dynamic early intervention model
  • Knowledge of early childhood intervention principles and best practice
  • Current drivers' license, willingness/ability to travel to clients (pool cars provided)
  • Current Blue Card
