Aged Care Support Professional

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Aged Care Support Professional to join our team. In this role, you will provide high-quality support services to older adults in their own homes, enabling them to live independently and maintain their dignity.


Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and meal preparation.
  • Domestic Assistance: perform light housekeeping tasks, laundry, and meal preparation to create a safe and comfortable environment for clients.
  • Transportation: transport clients to appointments, social events, and shopping trips, promoting their social connections and well-being.
  • Client Relationships: build trusting relationships with clients and their families, understanding their needs, and providing emotional support when required.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification in aged care, disability, or community nursing.
  • Experience working in aged care, disability, or community nursing is highly desirable.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
  • An Australian Driver's Licence and access to a reliable vehicle with insurance.
  • A willingness to undergo a National Police Clearance.
  • The right to work in Australia.
