Working hours: Monday - Friday, 0800-1600 hrs

About the role:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Resident Wellbeing Coordinator (Lifestyle) to work with our Wellbeing team. You will be responsible for planning, designing, and delivering diverse resident wellbeing programs, learning new technology, and coordinating a dynamic lifestyle team to improve residents' physiological, physical, and emotional wellbeing. This role is central to creating a positive emotional environment for residents and staff. If you enjoy creating joy and enthusiasm in a caring environment, this is the job for you

Skills and requirements:

  • Diversional Therapy qualification or equivalent, or at least 2 years experience as a Wellbeing or Lifestyle Coordinator in aged care
  • Creativity, compassion, and supportiveness in delivering quality lifestyle programs
  • Leadership skills to guide Wellbeing Activities staff
  • Ability to build positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues
  • Strong communication skills
  • Respect for cultural diversity and maintaining resident dignity
  • Proficiency with technology, software, and social media
  • Self-reflection, problem-solving, and initiative
