About The Role

Our organisation provides a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This includes safeguarding property and responding to emergencies.

The successful candidate will have experience as a security officer, ideally in a hospital or health setting. They will also need to be able to participate in code response situations and demonstrate knowledge of emergency procedures, including the operation of fire panels, OWS, and EWIS panels.

We require candidates who can negotiate and resolve conflict situations effectively. Additionally, they must be available to work at multiple sites and on different shifts.

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:

  • A current Victorian Security Guard and Crowd Controller Licence
  • Certificate III in Security Operations Unarmed Guarding and Crowd Control, or Certificate II - Unarmed Guard and Crowd Control
  • A current open or provisional Victorian Drivers Licence

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff
  2. Respond to emergencies and incidents
  3. Negotiate and resolve conflict situations
  4. Work at multiple sites and on different shifts
