We are seeking a SAP SD Specialist to join our IT Team at Burnley, VIC. The IT Group provides functional, development, business operational, and project support for Opal ANZ operations using SAP ECC 6.0.

This role involves shared responsibility for the installation, upgrade, and support of all Sales and Distribution related components of the SAP application. This includes integrated products encompassing Sales, EDI, CRM, B2B solutions, Logistics Execution, and SAP SD Functional Processes.

While we are not currently using S/4 HANA platform, we have invested in SAP's Business Technology Platform (BTP) to provide innovative and cost-effective solutions for future upgrades.

The position is suitable for someone early in their SD career, as we have an experienced SD team with resources to mentor, train, and develop skills internally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for Sales and Distribution processes in SAP ECC 6.0
  • Contribute to the implementation, upgrade, and maintenance of SAP SD components
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve business issues and improve processes
  • Develop and maintain technical knowledge of SAP SD, including configuration and EDI interfaces

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience working with SAP SD, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated configuration experience and understanding of EDI interfaces
  • Ability to manage work based on business priorities, impact, and deadlines
