Senior Legal Practitioner

Key Role in Delivering Dispute Resolution Services
As a specialist legal practitioner, you will be part of the Dispute Resolution Branch within the Legal Division. Your primary focus will be on supporting the lawful implementation of departmental objectives by providing expert advice on legal risk management and dispute resolution services.
Required Skills and Qualifications- You will be responsible for delivering high-quality investigation officer services that meet client expectations while considering legal and non-legal risks.
- Under supervision, you will prepare, draft, and review moderately complex legal documents.
- You will develop and maintain client relationships, promoting the Legal and Audit Division as DVA's trusted advisors.
- Your role will also involve supporting leadership by promoting a positive working environment and contributing to corporate leadership activities.

If a non-ongoing position is filled for an initial specified term of up to 18 months, a merit pool of suitable applicants may be created which may be used to fill future ongoing and non-ongoing vacancies should they become available over the next 18 months.
