Lead Mental Health Services

This is a challenging leadership role within the mental health sector, where you will be responsible for overseeing the business performance of a large private clinic.


The clinic provides patient-centred care, with 203 inpatient beds and a range of services including a Day Program centre and consulting suites across multiple locations.


As General Manager, you will champion a culture that prioritises patient experiences, staff engagement, and collaboration with key stakeholders.


Key responsibilities include:


  • Driving strategic partnerships and relationships with VMOs, primary care providers, government agencies, and public hospital leaders to enhance service delivery and integration.
  • Building high-performing teams with a strong internal talent pipeline and high engagement.
  • Developing growth-focused initiatives and demonstrating a business-minded, entrepreneurial approach.
  • Overseeing accreditation, quality improvement, and experience outcomes.
  • Delivering operational results and taking accountability for financial performance, service outcomes, and KPIs.

Required qualifications include tertiary qualifications in business, nursing, or allied health, as well as significant experience in a senior healthcare operational leadership position.


A strong commercial acumen and ability to lead complex negotiations are essential for this role. Additionally, you must demonstrate a commitment to quality healthcare delivery and an understanding of relevant national standards.
