The Salvation Army is seeking an External Communications Office Coordinator to join our team in Tasmania.

  • Provide administrative support to the External Communications Manager, including managing calendars, travel, correspondence, meeting minutes and documentation.
  • Support the planning and end-to-end delivery of events such as community outreach activities, fundraising campaigns, internal workshops, and media events.
  • Develop and implement a state-based social media content plan in collaboration with the National Social Media Team, managing posts, monitoring engagement, and responding to enquiries.
  • Coordinate stakeholder engagement, including liaising with media, government representatives, community partners, and internal teams.
  • Manage finance and office administration tasks, including raising invoices, expense reconciliation, maintaining promotional materials, and coordinating internal communications with local Corps and teams.
