Senior Water Infrastructure Leader

We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Director - Water / Wastewater Infrastructure to join our South Queensland team. This role would ideally be Brisbane-based, but Gold Coast or Sunshine Coast locations would also be considered.
Key Responsibilities- Lead high-performance teams in the process planning and design for water and wastewater treatment infrastructure.
- Deliver projects and provide technical leadership.
- Coach and mentor our people.
- Offer innovative solutions to our internal, existing and new clients across the utilities, local government and private sectors.
- Support national scale projects by providing technical leadership and peer review.
- Advance GHD's presence in the wider market through agreed National initiatives.
- Engineering Degree and have attained CPEng / Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) status.
- Experience on large scale multi-disciplinary projects.
- Experience on the mechanical / civil design and, hydraulic and transient assessment for pump stations, rising mains and conveyance pipework.
- Skilled in mechanical asset condition assessments and operational optimisation of existing assets.
- Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
