About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Officer to join our Private Works team for a 3-month secondment. As a key member of our team, you will provide essential technical support to our team involved in construction and renewal activities on water and sewerage infrastructure.

Your role will encompass a variety of tasks, requiring you to collaborate with a range of internal and external stakeholders. You will be responsible for delivering high-level administrative support to ensure the maintenance of quality standards and workplace efficiencies for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to our team involved in construction and renewal activities on water and sewerage infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the maintenance of quality standards and workplace efficiencies.
  • Deliver high-level administrative support to ensure the effective operation of our team.
Requirements
  • Certificate II in Business Administration and/or substantial experience supporting a construction services team.
  • Knowledge of water industry standards and ability to read construction plans.
  • Strong coordination and organisational skills for managing high work volumes.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite at an intermediate level.
  • Knowledge of Maximo, Unify, Metering and GIS, and CRM portal will be advantageous however not essential.
  • Experience using TechOne receipting is mandatory.
  • Demonstrated experience in a customer service position.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
