About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our team in Maroochydore, Australia. As a key member of our Community Development team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality structural design solutions for a variety of projects across different locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop structural elements for large civil projects, including bridges, retaining walls, and stormwater and wastewater pits.
  • Conduct large-scale asset maintenance and condition assessments.
  • Provide remedial works scoping, design, and construction support.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest construction methods and materials, and their impact on design and construction.
  • Deliver practical and innovative engineering solutions for clients.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver complete project solutions.
  • Ensure technical work and design calculations meet the highest standards.
About You
  • You hold tertiary qualifications in Engineering and have demonstrated structural design experience.
  • You have a strong background in structural design, with experience in a consulting environment delivering a wide range of projects.
  • You are RPEQ (structural) accredited or able to obtain accreditation in the near future.
  • You have experience working with a variety of structural materials, including concrete, steel, masonry, and timber.
  • You are familiar with current Australian design codes, including AS1170, AS3600, AS3700, and AS4100.
  • You have experience using analysis, design, reporting, and presentation tools such as Spacegass, Microstran, Structural Toolkit, RAPT, Inducta, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office suite.
  • You possess excellent communication skills to liaise with the team, senior management, and external stakeholders.
  • You are enthusiastic about contributing to the growth and development of the team.
  • You are eligible to obtain Defence baseline security clearance.
