The Enablement Lead for Safety, Health & Wellbeing (SH&W) is tasked with promoting and supporting SH&W initiatives across W Living. This role involves leading the development and execution of the SH&W roadmap in alignment with both the Woolworths Group and W Living strategies. The Enablement Lead will manage operational risks and collaborate with key partners to ensure effective ownership and management of SH&W risks and control frameworks.

Reporting to the Head of Safety, Health and Wellbeing for W Living, you will collaborate with senior leaders and their teams to provide guidance and support as we enhance our systems and establish new components within the W Living Portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

Contribute to the formulation and implementation of the safety strategy across the organization, fostering Active Safety Leadership within W Living. Conduct investigations into high-potential incidents, collaborate with regulatory bodies, and develop processes in partnership with Store Enablement to proactively mitigate risks. Enhance capabilities related to safety processes, systems, and regulations within the broader W Living team. Collaborate with key teams across Woolworths Group to identify opportunities for improving the Safety, Health, and Wellbeing of our teams, developing and implementing appropriate strategies. Lead regular reporting and updates for the leadership team, ensuring alignment with the Woolworths Group SHW Strategy and the W Living Annual Operating Plan.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 7 years of experience in a Safety role, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity. Relevant tertiary qualification in Safety or a related field. Experience in an organization that has expanded through acquisitions, with a strong ability to translate group strategy across various business units. Proven ability to influence both leadership and frontline teams. Experience in an Agile work environment is preferred.
