Leadership Opportunity in Education Technology

Hender Consulting is seeking a visionary leader to join our team as the Head of ICT and Digital Technologies. As a key member of our Leadership Group, you will be responsible for driving the strategic direction and operational excellence of our ICT function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Execute a Comprehensive ICT Strategy: Lead the development and implementation of a high-order ICT strategy that aligns with our organization's strategic intent, enabling seamless integration of technologies into our business and educational frameworks.
  • Provide Strategic Advice and Risk Management: Advise our Executive Leadership Team and Board on strategy and risk, both present and emerging, ensuring that our ICT function is aligned with our organization's goals and objectives.
  • Lead Cyber Security and Data Protection: Develop and implement robust policies and protocols for cyber security, data protection, and records management, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data.
  • Manage Infrastructure and Technical Frameworks: Oversee the management of infrastructure, software applications, and technical frameworks to ensure that business-critical ICT services are in place and functioning optimally.
  • Engage with Stakeholders: Foster widespread stakeholder engagement across our organization and with external regulatory and professional bodies, ensuring that our ICT function is aligned with industry best practices and standards.

Requirements:

  • Proven Experience in ICT Leadership: Demonstrated experience leading the strategic direction and operations of an ICT function, ideally in a customer-focused organization.
  • Digital Literacy and Digital Technologies: Strong understanding of digital literacy and digital technologies, with the ability to build capability in a range of forums.
  • Business Acumen: Knowledge of business procedures, including project management, reporting, budgeting, quality assurance, and leading through change.
