Key Responsibilities- Strategic Planning: Develop and articulate digital strategic objectives, priorities, and initiatives in alignment with our goals and Australian Government mandates.
- Architecture Governance: Establish and maintain robust governance frameworks and processes to ensure alignment between technology investments and business needs.
- Technology Investment Management: Provide leadership and oversight in the evaluation, selection, and prioritization of technology investments and projects.
- Enterprise Architecture Development: Lead the development and maintenance of enterprise architecture frameworks, models, and artefacts to guide the design, implementation, and evolution of our digital infrastructure.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership, business units, vendors, and government agencies.
- Leadership and Team Management: Provide strategic direction, mentorship, and support to the teams within the Strategy and Architecture Section.
- Extensive experience (typically 7+ years) in strategic planning, enterprise architecture, and technology governance within large, complex organisations, preferably in the public sector.
- Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing digital and ICT strategies, roadmaps, and architectures to support organisational goals and priorities.
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) and methodologies for designing and managing technology infrastructure.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and driving transformational change in digital service delivery and technology management.
- Relevant qualifications in computer science, information technology, business administration, or a related field.
- A competitive salary package, including a base salary between $136,307 - $161,381 per annum, plus 15.4% superannuation.
