The Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated candidate with extensive experience in Transactional Services to join our team on a 12-month parental leave contract.

The Finance Manager - Transactional Services is responsible for leading a team and facilitating the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports for Squadron Energy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the processes and controls of the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions across the Squadron Energy group.
  • Manage the processing and settlement of Power Purchase Agreements in SAP and Austraclear.
  • Manage a team of Accountants to ensure that transaction flows, records, billings, and payments are performed accurately and within agreed timeframes.
  • Maintain and uplift internal controls/procedures to drive improvement across the business unit.
  • Manage the month-end process for transaction-related processes.
  • Assist in the testing and development of SAP system applications and their improvements.
  • Manage cost recoveries across the Squadron Energy Group.
  • Work closely with the Treasury function to ensure cash flow compliance.
  • Manage the corporate credit card processing and timely processing of staff claims, ensuring compliance against company policy.
