Assets and Property Manager

At Ventia, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Facilities & Assets Manager to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of properties on behalf of the South Australian Government.
This is a permanent full-time position that requires strong leadership and technical skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional outcomes and supporting the delivery of strategic asset plans.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify areas of risk and opportunity in relation to maintenance and capital works
- Develop and implement plans to achieve commercial targets and optimize lifecycle costs of facilities and/or assets
- Support the delivery of property asset management teams' business plans and all other strategic initiatives
- Monitor and direct contractor performance and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Assist with audits and inspections and build relationships with agencies, sub-contractors, suppliers, and consultants
- Experience in facilities management, asset management, or a related field
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of property maintenance and management
- Project management qualification or demonstrated experience in relevant industry
- Current driver's license required
