Public Asset Manager

Our company is seeking a skilled professional to manage public assets.
The RoleThis is a full-time permanent position that will cover the Port Pirie and Augusta region, responsible for managing facilities and assets including schools, hospitals, courts, and police stations.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Identify areas of risk and opportunity in relation to maintenance and capital works, developing and implementing plans to achieve commercial targets and optimise lifecycle cost of facilities and/or assets.
- Support the delivery of asset management initiatives and ensure all contracts are executed to budget and scope.
- Monitor and direct contractor performance and be the first point of contact for technical and facilities management matters.
- Assist with audits and inspections and build positive relationships with suppliers and consultants.
- Ensure record management and reporting to inform proactive performance adherence of subcontractors on site.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Demonstrated experience in facilities management or a related field.
- Project management qualification or demonstrated experience in relevant industry.
- Current Drivers license required.
