Job Description

We are looking for a qualified Social Worker with extensive experience in working with Indigenous communities. As a Sessional Lecturer, you will be responsible for delivering interactive workshops, marking assessments, and managing classroom administration. You will also contribute to the development of curriculum and practice that embeds cultural safety and self-determination.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A Master's-level qualification in Social Work (preferred)
  • Eligibility for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
  • Extensive experience as a practicing Social Worker
  • A commitment to advancing cultural safety and First Nations perspectives in education
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Experience or interest in tertiary education and mentoring
