Clinical Lead

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Endocrinologist to provide clinical management and consultation services to patients with endocrine disorders.
The successful candidate will have a strong track record of delivering high-quality patient care and a proven ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
The key responsibilities of the role include:
- Providing after-hours endocrinology on call services for the Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District
- Caring for inpatients admitted under Endocrinology, as well as providing endocrinology consultation services for patients admitted under other specialties
- Delivering outpatient clinics at the Illawarra Shoalhaven Diabetes Service, with services provided district-wide based on clinical need
- Supporting and advising the rest of the multi-disciplinary team at the Illawarra Shoalhaven Diabetes service
- Supervising junior staff, including advanced trainees, basic physician trainees, and junior medical officers
- Applicable vaccination requirements for a Category A Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- Current AHPRA Registration and Fellowship with Royal Australian College of Physicians (FRACP)
- Valid NSW Drivers Licence
