Key Delivery Role

This is a pivotal position in shaping the future of our delivery operations, working closely with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency and achieve sustainability goals.

The successful candidate will have experience in the delivery space, with a strong background in scheduling and job coordination, as well as excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all delivery experience-related matters.
  • Manage truck scheduling, coordinating fleet operations and acting as a fleet coordinator.
  • Coordinate schedules with 3PL partners, ensuring bookings are made efficiently.
  • Forecast delivery volumes to service providers and elevate our delivery platform.
  • Analyse and report on Carrier On-Time Delivery (COTD) KPIs, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Understand and work with multiple service providers, including batching processes
  • Schedule jobs and collections, acting as the external face for delivery coordination.
  • Collaborate with Fulfilment Centre, Customer Service, Finance, and Sustainability teams to enhance operational efficiency and achieve sustainability goals.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Delivery Experience Expertise: Provide expert advice on all delivery-related matters.
  • Truck Scheduling: Manage truck schedules and coordinate fleet operations.
  • 3PL Partnerships: Coordinate schedules with 3PL partners and ensure efficient bookings.
  • Delivery Volumes: Forecast delivery volumes and elevate the delivery platform.
  • COTD Analysis: Analyse and report on COTD KPIs to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Service Provider Management: Work with multiple service providers, including batching processes.
  • Job and Collection Coordination: Schedule jobs and collections as the external face for delivery coordination.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with various teams to enhance operational efficiency and achieve sustainability goals.
