Project Coordinator Job Description

  • Role Objectives: To plan and establish overall delivery objectives, considering existing workload, orders, delivery dates, sales, and production forecasts.
  • Coordination: Coordinate schedules by communicating with other departments to avoid costly delays, customer dissatisfaction, and complaints.
  • Forecasting: Forecast project demand to enable the factory to align capacity.
  • Contract Management: Provide interpretations of contracts, organize or process correspondence with contracting parties, and execute contractual obligations.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate program and delivery requirements in line with contractual lead time commitments.
  • Variation Management: Manage contractual variations, surcharges, and pricing movements.
  • Growth Opportunities: Identify and investigate growth areas and undertake specialist projects when required.
  • Reporting: Produce monthly project progress reports.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar position.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Technical knowledge and skills in project management, work in a team environment, excellent computing skills, and high degree of quality awareness.
