
Job Opportunity: Disability Employment Specialist

**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Disability Employment Specialist. This role will involve working closely with local employers to build relationships and identify opportunities for people with disabilities to secure employment.
Key Responsibilities:
- BUILDING CLOSE RELATIONSHIPS WITH LOCAL EMPLOYERS TO IDENTIFY OPPORTUNITIES FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES TO SECURE EMPLOYMENT
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the local labour market and emerging industries, with the goal of achieving ongoing employment opportunities
- Proactively identify and develop new employer relationships, taking time to understand their staffing needs and providing tailored recruitment solutions
- Help employers adapt their processes or roles to accommodate candidates with specific needs and maximize productivity and other benefits towards achieving their organizational goals
- Engage job-ready candidates and match them with employers through referrals, job carving, and reverse marketing to achieve sustainable outcomes
- Work closely with Employment Consultants and Ongoing Support Consultants to build opportunities in industries relevant to the caseloads' needs and provide post-placement support to participants and their employers
- Achieve or exceed all KPIs and apply an outcome-focused, high-performance approach to the role
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Relevant qualifications in areas such as Employment Services, Community Services, or other relevant areas is desirable
- Previous experience in employment services, including advanced barrier management, reverse marketing, placement of candidates into employment, and provision of post-placement support will be highly regarded
- Demonstrated experience in business development, account management, or sales will be highly regarded
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills
- Working knowledge of local employers and their recruitment demands
- Demonstrated ability to communicate through various methods with a wide variety of stakeholders
- Performance-focused mindset and proven experience achieving business targets and KPIs
- Must hold a Driver's license as travel throughout the region will be required
