About the Role
We are seeking highly skilled individuals to join our Mining Production team at our South Flank iron ore mine. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, and haul trucks to extract iron ore from the mine.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently to meet production targets
- Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve production goals and maintain a safe working environment
- Participate in training and development programs to improve skills and knowledge
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment in a mining or construction environment
- Computer literacy and experience with autonomous mining systems
- Valid C class manual driver's license
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively
