
Third Machinery Maintenance Specialist

The position of Third Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of engine room machinery.
This involves undertaking various tasks to maintain the smooth functioning of machinery, adhering to strict safety protocols and environmental regulations.
- Maintaining engine room equipment and machinery.
- Assisting with bunkering operations and waste oil pumping.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety and environmental guidelines.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess certain skills and qualifications. These include:
- A valid Engine Watchkeeper (Motor) Certificate of Competency issued by AMSA.
- Security Awareness Training.
- A current Passport.
- An AMSA Certificate of Medical Fitness.
- A Valid Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC).
- Confined Space Entry & Rescue.
- Working Safely at Heights.
- Previous seagoing experience within the last three years.
Please note that the ability to work in Australia is also essential for this position.
